Pleasant View City lies on the north bench of the Ogden area in Weber County at the base of rugged Ben Lomond Peak. It is a gateway community to Weber County for travelers going south on I-15. The current mix of farmland and homes with some commercial development near Highway 89 creates a rural appearance, since there is much agricultural use still within the city. Large homes and large lots characterize the residential areas. Pleasant View occupies an area of approximately five square miles.
